This book like the first one in this series was awesome. Excellent read! Chloe and her K-9 Hank are trying to rescue Rachel and other girls that have been kidnapped for human trafficking. The team must hurry as the kidnappers want the Judge killed. Rachel realizes through all that she has gone through how much her dad (Blake) really loves her. This book was full of faith, trust, believing in others and God. It was full of twist and turns and I could not put it down. Road Trip of Delusion
Road Trip of Delusion was a great story. Kari Rose had to make the decision to load up her sister's in their Granny's Cadillac. Their Granny is bound and determined to make a 500 mile trip with or without the girl's. Unbeknownst that they will meet many trials and fears along the way. Prayer gets them through. 5 Stars. |
River to Redemption
Orphaned in the cholera epidemic of 1833, Adria Starr was cared for by a slave named Louis, a man who stayed in Springfield, Kentucky, when anyone with means had fled. A man who passed up the opportunity to escape his bondage and instead tended to the sick and buried the dead. A man who, twelve years later, is being sold by his owners despite his heroic actions. Now nineteen, Adria has never forgotten what Louis did for her. She's determined to find a way to buy Louis's freedom. But in 1840's Kentucky, she'll face an uphill battle.
Based partly on a true story, Ann H. Gabhart's latest historical novel is a tour de force. The vividly rendered town of Springfield and its citizens immerse readers in a story of courage, betrayal, and honor that will stick with them long after they turn the last page. 5 Stars

Predestined Love Book Review
This book was full of faith, love, trust and believing. Maria moves to Italy to do volunteer work at an orphanage. She hopes to find the man that God has planned for her. Maria and Marco not only find love for one another but for a special boy named Peter. This story was so good that I read it in one sitting.
